Star Wars was a movie franchise that changed the cinematic landscape. We’ve all heard this. It was a groundbreaking film of its time, and, even more important, because it established high standards by which other films have been judged or compared. Priorcontinental science fiction movies often were deemed to be B-grade films with low-quality effects instead of believable ones.
One movie that is a blockbuster is a standout in the field of blockbuster movies. Damnation Alley, the film that depicted a nuclear disaster, inspired many people with its special effects years after. If you look at the comparison between Star Wars to this movie, it is clear why they spent so much more in the production. 20th Century Fox was less expensive and only cost them $17million. The current estimates of LucasFilm’s estimate that their cost was about 170 million. Damnation Alley wasn’t without difficulties. The most important thing is that a lot of the damages caused by post-production modifications was irreparable.

Star Wars was a movie which promoted merchandise in a way unlike any other. Although it did not include lightsabers, these devices were so beloved by fans that employee ownership increased.

The lightsaber was cool due to the fact that it could be used with Force to transform it into an extension or your body. This deadly blade can make you one. It’s reminiscent of the Samurai warriors who were born with skilled hands and feet. The blades need an amount of expertise to use effectively.
